Tanzania’s Hand-Washing Generation

Children in Tanzania get it. They don’t want to be sick anymore. Teachers get it too. Hand-washing has become a core lesson repeated each day at the school’s colorfully painted washing stations. Meet 13-year-old Filomena. Filomena is passing on these lessons to her siblings and parents at home. She’s part of the hand-washing generation.
